Minnie D. Ingram, 91, of Kearney, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Mother Hull Home in Kearney. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney, who are in charge of arrangements. Rev. Thane Moore will officiate with burial to follow at the Kearney Cemetery. Visitation is planned for Tuesday evening at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. Minnie was born on October 29, 1921 in Kearney, NE to Charles and Bettie (Fox) Schroer. She attended the Hartman Country School northeast of Kearney. She married Murrel R. Ingram on November 10, 1940 in Kearney. Minnie worked the majority of her life at Baldwin Filters in Kearney; was a past president of the Kearney Eagles Auxiliary and also a member of the Kearney American Legion Auxiliary. Minnie enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, playing cards and the slots, a “Minnie” or two (easy on the water please) and especially took great pleasure in spending time with her family. She also took pride in the appearance of her yard which she single handily took care of almost to the end. Minnie was truly one of God’s very special red heads who lived and loved life to the fullest.
Minnie is survived by a Son, Lanny Ingram and his wife Janna of Kearney; Daughter, Pat Larsen and Don Berndt, of Lost Bridge Village, AR; Grandchildren, Mike Larsen and his wife Sara of Omaha, NE, Drew Larsen and his wife Cortney of North Platte, NE, Kip Ingram, Stephanie Perdue and Thad Ingram, all of Kearney, NE; Great Grandchildren, Samantha Perdue, Brenden Ingram, Mya and James Larsen; Brothers, Don Schroer of Kearney, NE, Fay and Beverly Schroer of Kearney, NE, Elmer and Karen Schroer of Gibbon, NE.
Pallbearers are Mike & Drew Larsen, Kip, Brenden and Thad Ingram and Jim Bertrand. Honorary Pallbearers are Stephanie & Samantha Perdue, Mya and James Larsen.
Minnie was preceded in death by her Husband, Murrel; one sister, Leona; and four Brothers, Everett, Melvin and Dale & Roy who both died as infants.
