John G. John was born March 1, 1966 in Goldsboro, North Carolina to James and Mary (Gilliland) Roberts.  He graduated from Fremont High School in 1984.  He moved to Kearney and attended Kearney State College.  John worked at Coleman Powermate in Kearney.  John was proud to have earned his Eagle Scout badge.  He was a member of the Spirit of Life Open Bible Church.  He loved his nieces and nephew and enjoyed spending time with them.  He also liked to work on computers and have pets. 

Surviving relatives include his sisters Candi and husband Keith Fenster of Lincoln, NE, Deb and Gary Phillips of grand Island, NE; brother Dan and wife Donna Roberts of Waipahu, HI; nephew Josh Fenster of Lincoln, NE; nieces Mackenzie Roberts of Waipahu, HI, Brittany Phillips of Lincoln, NE, and Danielle and her husband Tyson Hinrichsen of Grand Island, NE; Aunts; Barb Larson of Kearney, NE, Alicia and George Carey of Kearney, and Pat Hasty of Oklahoma City, OK, several cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
