Martha M. Silvers, 93, of Kearney, Formerly of Stuart, NE, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stuart. Father Luke Steffes will officiate and burial will follow at the Stuart Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Martha was born on February 11, 1920 in Atkinson, NE to Alois and Mary (Decker) Babl. She attended school in Newport, NE. She married Grover Silvers on October 15, 1942 in Long Pine, NE. Martha was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Surviving relatives include her Sons, Terry Silvers and his wife Judy of Kearney, Darryl Silvers and Donna of Lincoln, Duane Silvers and his wife Sheila of Kearney, Tom Silvers of Lincoln; Daughters, Sue Peterson and her husband Dean of Axtell, Pam Silvers and Scott, of Kearney; Sister, Louise Bivins of Plainview, NE.
