Fredrick “Fred” F. Blevins, age 71, of Kearney died Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Fred was born on May 16, 1939 in North Platte to George F. and Ethel (Clark) Blevins. He graduated from Kearney High School with the class of 1956. Fred joined the Navy shortly after High School and found a passion for electronics. He owned and operated Blevins TV Shop in Kearney for a number of years. He also drove a Semi-Truck for Midlands Contracting. He married Sara Rodriguez on December 29, 1995 in Kearney. Fred enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and computers.
